Riverside, CA (PRWEB) February 16, 2012

Springboard Nonprofit Consumer Credit Management, Inc. (Springboard) is encouraging consumers to jump start their savings program by participating in America Saves Week, the campaign that occurs annually to encourage better savings habits among all Americans. This year, America Saves Week is recognized February 19-26. Research indicates that most Americans today are not saving adequately for retirement, and most lower-income households do not have adequate emergency savings for unexpected expenditures. Springboard is proud to be one of the participating organizations behind America Saves Week. Joining Springboard in supporting this important initiative is Riverside Mayor Ron O. Loveridge, who encourages all Americans to make saving for the future a priority.

Its never too late to begin good financial habits, said Melinda Opperman, senior vice president for Springboard. Reducing debt and building wealth will pay big dividends in the end. America Saves Week is the perfect time to get started, said Opperman.

Springboard encourages consumers all year long to take financial action through saving, debt reduction, and wealth building. Although many believe that low and moderate-income families cannot afford to save and build wealth, research shows that there are savers and spenders in all income levels, said Opperman. Research shows that families that have a savings plan in place save about twice as much as those with no plan.

Put your plan in writing something magical happens when a goal is written down. The brain starts working on solutions and you become emotionally committed, said Opperman.

Springboard has developed useful online tools to help consumers reach their savings goal. Consumers can access our America Saves Week website for effective how-to-save-tactics, savings calculators, online courses, videos, worksheets and budget planners.

To learn more about America Saves or to test your savings knowledge visit, http://credit.org/blog/americasavesweek. If you need help putting your financial life in order, reach out to a trained and certified financial counselor.

Between a Hollywood superstar and a voice actor, the latter actually works harder. It’s real tough for him to show feelings and emotions while reading, fully knowing that he will not be seen on the screen. He must get into the skin of the character and pump life into the dialogues. This is where voice over training comes into play.

Voice over training aids voice actors understand the craft and find gainful employment in a growing area. There are 1000s of cartoon and animated TV shows, web shows, TV/radio advertisements, web videos, and movies being made continually. Moreover, each movie/TV show has a cast of more than 20-30 characters. There are worldwide opportunities galore for a voice actor.

Basic skills required to join a voice over training course

Diction is one of the most vital tools of the trade. Perfect enunciation is required from the student, hence, it is necessary for him to go to speech classes to perfect his diction. Every voice over actor has two roles to fulfill – “lending voice” and “acting.” This means that getting a perfect diction is not enough to be able to join a voice over training, enrolling in an acting course is also necessary for the student.

What does a voiceover training course teach?

The student learns how to analyze and interpret commercial copy for announcer and real-person roles. Interpreting narrative copy, as well as technical copy, are learned as well. Students learn to coordinate the mind, mouth and voice efficiently, so that they may be able to sound really true to the personality they are playing. Taking direction is also mastered by the student.

Reading, recording, play back, and listening are done over and over again in an excellent voice talent training course. This is done in order for students to get it right. Students learn tactics such as inflection, timing and articulation. They perform warm-ups and vocal exercises as well. They understand how to maintain their vocal health. When students are already half-way into the voice over training course, they become competent at using and adjusting pitch, tone, volume and delivery speed to meet the needs of numerous types of jobs.

Once a student completes the training, he learns how to market his skills, tap proper contacts, and land voice over work. Instructors of the voice over program also assist them in creating a voice over demo, which would become part of their portfolio. A solid voice over training course provides students the opportunity to work in a real studio and understand what they should and shouldn’t do in a sound booth and when behind the microphone.

Choosing a voice over training program

There are two facets to voice training. Students who are attracted in selling must opt for a commercial voice over course. Commercial voice overs are used for selling. Some of the areas that require this type of voice overs are radio ads, TV advertisements, phone and other media features. Selling skills are also covered by a voice over course since all commercial voice overs sell a service or a product. This program does not cover acting skills. Students who are interested in showbiz must decide on a TV and movie voice over and dubbing program. Such courses require lip-synching, and so the voice over actor has to learn acting skillsets too.

To conclude, all the world’s a stage and we must play a part. So if you would like to be a voice actor, and you want to learn how to improve your voice, better enroll in a reputable voice actor training course.

It is quite tough for a voice actor to put feelings and emotions to what he is reading, all the while knowing that he’s not seen on screen. The voice actor must be able to empathize with the character that he portrays and make sure that he breathes life into the script. It is in this area where voice over training is essential.

Voice over training aids voice actors learn the craft and find gainful employment in a growing area. Thousands of animated TV shows, cartoons, radio advertisements, web shows and movies are produced on a regular basis. Take note that about 20 to 30 characters make up the cast of a single movie or TV show. The prospects for a voice talent actually abound internationally.

Voice over training course – the fundamental skills that you ought to have

Diction is one of the most vital tools of the trade. The student must have perfect enunciation and therefore must attend speech classes to get his diction properly. A voice talent would always have two roles to perform – the “acting,” and the “lending voice.” So, fantastic diction is not enough to start voice over training – the student must also enroll in an acting course before joining the voice over course.

What does a voiceover training program teach?

Assessing and interpreting commercial copy for announcer and real-person roles are learned by the student. He also comes to understand how to interpret narrative copy and gets the hang of technical copy as well. Students learn how to coordinate the mind, mouth and voice efficiently, so that they may be able to sound really true to the personality they are playing. Taking direction is also learned by the student.

Reading, recording, play back, and listening are done continuously in an excellent voice talent training course. This is done in order for students to get it correctly. Students learn techniques such as inflection, timing and articulation. They perform warm-ups and vocal exercises as well. They figure out how to maintain their voice health. When students are already half-way into the voice over training course, they become competent at using and adjusting pitch, tone, volume and delivery speed to meet the needs of numerous types of jobs.

After the main training is over, students learn how to promote their skills, tap the appropriate contacts, and get voice over work. The course instructors also help them create a voice over demo for their portfolio. An opportunity to experience working in a real studio is offered in a solid voice over training course for students. They also learn what the do’s and don’ts are whenever they are behind the microphone or in a sound booth.

Selecting a voice over training course

There are two aspects to voice training. Students who are interested in selling must opt for a commercial voice over course. Commercial voice overs are employed for selling. TV advertisements, radio ads, phone and other media feature these voice overs. The voice over course also covers selling skills because all commercial voice overs sell a product or a service. Acting skills are not dealt with by this course. If a student is interested in showbiz, then he should opt for dubbing and a movie or TV voice over course. Lip-synching is required by such courses, hence, the voice over talent also must have to master acting skills.

To end, all the world’s a stage and we must play a part. So if you would like to be a voice talent, and you want to learn how to improve your voice, better enroll in a reputed voice actor training program.
